I loved the electric car, it was a pleasure to drive and perfect for my needs (a Fiat 500e). However, the rental sales agent had tried to pursuade me to pay more to 'upgrade' to a petrol vehicle (for an extra 20 EUR per day!), and made some false claims about the electric car - that it may only cover 100km in range (actually it was good for 260km+), and cost 40 EUR to charge up (many times more than the reality). I ignored his bad advice. I understand he wanted to earn more from me, but I felt lied to. Sixt should be trying to encourage electric cars for the good of the planet, not mislead people into avoiding them.
Vehicle was given to me with 72% charge... it was fine for my needs on that day, but 100% charge was expected.
