EDIT: Sixt followed up and sorted this out -- edit 1 star to 4. Very good customer service from main office, just unfortunate that they have to clean up the mess that an agent at a local office causes...
The agent told me I should get a prepaid fuel tank, but after six days travel I only used half. They refused to credit back the difference but I received compensation from customer service.

Loved the customer service - the agent was professional and kind. The car provided was completely new and a model I never drove before. It was nice I got to test it and loved all the new electronic functionality. Found a down side though of having a hybrid car. Consumes more on both fuel and electric hence better invest on either one if one is looking for a cost effective car. Overall very good experience at Sixt!

Service was friendly, attentive and enjoyable.Two reasons why we didn’t give a five-star review.
1. Location was difficult to get to from the train station and when dropping off the car, the directions took us through a parking garage.
2. Staff suggested we take a taxi from Lausanne to our Geneva hotel. The ride cost us a whopping $240 francs! That is the most expensive cab ride we have ever taken in our local and world travels. Also the cab driver didn’t speak any English, didn’t know how to use her phone GPS and had no idea how to get to our destination.
It would’ve been useful if the staff explored cheaper options and spoke to the driver before-hand to discuss our needs.
