I’ve hired many cars in my lifetime all around the world and had many experiences (good and bad). I can honestly say Sixt at Faro airport were excellent (hence 5 stars).
This was a very honest company. Did not try to offer different cars or charge dishonest fees. Absolutely 100% recommend and for certain will use them again.

All was very good .
- location just at the exit, car , simplicity,,
- service of the people.., not many(nearly no) bothering questions, very friendly.. etc.
Luckily I had a package from ADAC , incl. 2. driver and full insurance for a reasonable price ., About 300€ for 8days, which was definitely worth seeing all the benefits,
Unfortunately this package is obviously not possible to book directly or it is becoming a little too expensive.
All how it went, this is rental car usage should be. Part of an important good feeling when starting and finishing holidays.
