We rented a car here for a day trip to Neuschwanstein castle. We were visiting Munich for our 25th anniversary, and wanted to drive on the Autobahn! The rental process itself was very easy. We downloaded the app prior to leaving the states, and uploaded our information such as drivers license and passport. Given that we were in a foreign country, we did opt for the full protection package which was not cheap (it was essentially the same price as the rental itself). Due to a last-minute snafu, we did have to go to the actual counter to pick up the keys, I believe most of the time it can all be done via the app. That being said, it was still an easy process. The staff at the counter was very helpful and friendly. The car was in excellent condition and was super fun to drive. This particular location allows for 24 hour pick up and drop off which is very helpful. The location is just across the street from the central train station.

Vehicle was great, and return was great. At pickup, the employee was very sweet and helpful, however it took quite a bit of time because there was a long line and she was the only employee there to assist customers in vehicle pickup. While I do like to rent from Sixt because of their vehicles, after multiple instances of this, it appears they do not properly staff their locations, regardless of where in the world you are renting.
